A Toy That Tops The Charts
The John Lewis Wood Deluxe Toy Kitchen with Fridge Freezer Play Set has proven to be a consistent hit, even making it onto John Lewis' annual Top Ten Toys list. This list is particularly noteworthy as it's based on actual testing sessions with children, ensuring the toys are genuinely loved by their intended users. The kitchen itself boasts a beautiful design, featuring an American-style fridge freezer with a wooden ice maker, an oven, a microwave, and a modern Belfast sink.
Hours Of Imaginative Play
This playset comes complete with 24 accessories, including pots, pans, plates, bowls, cutlery, and even miniature kitchen essentials like olive oil and salt and pepper shakers. These additions are designed to provide hours of entertainment, encouraging children to engage in imaginative role-playing, such as preparing meals for their toys. In an era where screen time is prevalent, a toy kitchen offers a valuable opportunity for children to develop fine motor skills, hand-to-eye coordination, and creative thinking.
Quality And Durability
While specific reviews for this exact new model are limited, feedback on similar John Lewis wooden kitchens is overwhelmingly positive. Parents frequently commend the "amazing quality" and durability, noting that the kitchens remain in excellent condition even after extensive daily play.
